Having so many people in one house is maddening, especially when privacy doesn’t even exist. Sometimes Laura thinks of hopping on a bus and disappearing, or maybe just moving out of state for college.
But then her little sister offers to braid her hair, and Derek laughs at his own joke hard enough to snort milk out his nose, and her mom fondly calls them pups while dad and Peter play high stakes poker
in the kitchen
with mardigras beads because real gambling sets a bad example for the kids.
And Laura knows she could never leave this behind.

Laura Hale Appreciation Week Aesthetics: Day 3 – Femslash – Laura and Allison.
Laura and Allison meet while hunting for a wolf that is spotted roaming the Kingdom of Beacon Hills every full moon. Neither one are aware that Laura herself is the wolf. At least not until the full moon and Laura shifts. Once Laura realizes the truth she flees, afraid that Allison will never be able to accept her. Allison surprises both of them when she tracks down Laura, not to kill her, but to tell her that nothing has changed and that she loves her. Together they work on figuring out a way for Laura to control her shift and to put the Kingdom’s mind at ease about the wolf so they can build a peaceful life for themselves.

“Oh Sylvia? Yes, Mickey? How d’you call your lover boy?” Stiles speaks along with the music, inflection and pitch changing perfectly along with the track. He grins as Derek arches an amused brow. He lowers his own brow an an exaggerated come-hither look. “Come here, loverboy.”
Derek stifles a laugh and starts in on his food in an attempt to hide the blush that graces his cheekbones while Stiles sings the rest of the song.
And if he gets redder still when Stiles randomly quotes some lines from the movie as the Dirty Dancing soundtrack plays on, the young renter doesn’t comment.
