Allydia AU: Allison Argent is a bounty hunter hired to find one of the scene’s most notorious thieves. All she is given is one instruction, “Bring down the Banshee.” But Allison doesn’t know that the world’s biggest heist was contrived in the intricate mind of the 5’3 ginger with the deceiving eyes. And Lydia “Banshee” Martin, who is usually one step ahead,  finds her mind is totally muddled by the graceful brunette huntress.

Laura doesn’t even have to think. It’s probably her big-sister instincts kicking in, but she squats down and shakes the kid awake.

He blinks slowly, eyes unfocused. “Wha’timezit.”

“Late.” She pokes at him when his eyelids start drifting closed. “Nope. You are not sleeping here tonight.”

don’t belong to no city – an allison/kira fanmix for @sleepy-skittles

the world ain’t slowing down // wake up // wild and young // hurricane // jamie all over // love letter to japan // dress // mezzanine // elemental // girlfriend // atlas hands // she // girl almighty

it takes a long time for allison to find her way back to this world – the real world, the one where all her friends exist. the one where all her friends were born and died. beacon hills is empty of familiar faces, and even the streets look different, wrong. leaving it behind doesn’t fix the sense of displacement, weeks, months spent wondering if this is what she came back for. ten years pass before she really notices that she’s nineteen again and again and again and again. her face staring back from a reflection in a fountain in rome is the same face obscured in a dirty mirror on the seedy side of town – of every town, everywhere.

she’s in new york when she finds a reason to be here and not there, someone and not no one. she finds kira yukimura, sleek dark hair and short skirts, her old belt now engraved with a long line of dates. she thumbs her finger over the rut where her own fate is carved and feels helpless to undo it, to take it back. she’s alive, but she’s not quite sure how to take back the dying. not yet.

kira leads her around the world again, pulling her along by peasant sleeves, by backpack straps, her hand, and finally her heart.

this is the story of two still-young girls and their eternal road trip.

Cordia: things you said when you were scared

“I love you!” Lydia shouts in the middle of their fight against another pack of alphas.

“What?” Cora yells back, confused. She heard correctly. There is no mistaking what Lydia said, but Cora is confused about the timing. Not that she didn’t know Lydia was interested in her. They have been flirting and dancing around each other for years now.

Lydia doesn’t answer because she is suddenly screaming, and Cora is too distracted to dodge the claws that slash her throat.

One second Cora is standing, and the next thing she knows she’s on the ground, choking. She can’t seem to get a breath in, and there’s so much pain on her neck, so much pain. The blood is oozing down her neck to her chest, but that doesn’t matter because Lydia is kneeling before her.

“I love you,” she whispers. “It’s not your time. Not yet. I won’t let you go. Not yet.”

So Cora fights. She fights to stay alive because she has to see where things will go with Lydia. She has to see where they go. She has to.
