I wouldn’t normally do this, but right now I’m feeling a little desperate. My best friend is getting married at the end of November. She lives in Illinois while I live in Florida. I already haven’t seen her and the rest of my family that live back in Illinois in almost 2 years. I know there is a lot going on, believe me. My step dad has been in and out of the hospital for months now due to heart problems, and on top of all that my Mom lost her job and has been unemployed for almost a month. It’s hard enough finding money to keep the bills paid and making sure we have food in the house. The only thing that has been helping with that is my brother recently started working but it’s nowhere near enough. And I couldn’t possibly think of asking them for money for a plane ticket with how stressed out they all already are. But I want to be there for my friend and be able to support her on her special day. I want to be able to see my friends and family that I haven’t seen in years and have been missing a lot. So I know that a lot is going on and there are better things for people to spend their money on. I understand that. But if anyone can and is able to donate I would appreciate it.
