#1 tip to be the most popular kid in school
fill your backpack/pencil box/locker/car with pancakes and offer them to new friends
but what if they dont like pancakes
then you probably don’t want them as a friend anyway tbh
Okay but like imagine Stiles and Derek’s daughter being super nervous for her first day of school and Stiles tells her to offer pancakes to make friends and she’s all pouty like “but what if they dont like pancakes?” And Stiles looks her dead in the eyes “then they dont deserve your friendship” and Derek is just in the background sighing like “Stiles why”
Derek: Stiles I don’t like pancakes.
Stiles: Yeah, and you’re still on thin ice for that, buddy!
Derek: Stiles, we’re married.
Stiles: THIN. ICE.
Their daughter, rolling her eyes: Love is so gross….I hate you both.
“Grrrr"doesn’t work this time.
Stiles and Derek character studies.
Oh wow.
of what keeps you human
A companion/sequel to this and possible prequel to this for today’s @sterekdrabbles words wound, defend, fit, and this week’s theme of loyalty. These have all been a bit…darker.
Derek is wracked with guilt when he finds out the hunter had gone after Stiles.
He assures himself that Stiles isn’t wounded, that the blood isn’t his, examines Stiles’s eyes, what lies behind his steady gaze.
“I should’ve been there to protect you,” Derek mutters, frustrated with his own inabilities.
Stiles shrugs, but there’s tension. A lie. “I can defend myself.”
But Derek knows Stiles is wondering if this will change how they fit together, if he’ll see the monster lying beneath—not an incident or a coincidence but a pattern.
“Yeah, but I’m supposed to protect you.”
There’s a difference.
😭
