Your werewolf s/o knowing you don’t eat meat so when they try to court you instead of dropping dead deers or boars at your feet, they bring you a bunch of veggies. Like entire potato plants or a bunch of cauliflowers seemingly fresh from a field. A wolf mouth full of turnips. They notice that it kind of works out, at least you eat some of it. Which encourages them to get a little more creative. The next thing you get is an entire branch from an apple tree. A few berry bushes left on your front porch. You’ve given up asking them whose farms they’ve been raiding cause all you get in response is a proud “I’ve hunted! For you!”
In a time of war, Captain Stilinski became the youngest ever commander of a US space exploration vehicle, the title having been passed down to him from his deceased father. Long after the war ends, he and his crew still drift aimlessly across the galaxy, decreasing supplies and no home to return to after the carnage took their earth. Their luck plummets further when they veer into an alien vessel carrying a species they’ve never seen before – part human, part wolf. The ship’s aggressive captain, Derek Hale, attempts to board their ship and commandeer their supplies, his own crew rabid and hungry after weeks without a meal. But Captain Stilinski won’t watch any more of his family die. For his crew, he will go to war once again.
Academically, Lydia’s one of the finest students I’ve ever had. Her A.P. classes push her GPA above a 5.0. I’d actually like to have her I.Q. tested. And socially, she displays outstanding leadership qualities. I mean, she’s a real leader.

Does every goth femme have those black thigh highs with the stripes at the top?
My thighs too chub
Same tho. They roll aaaaaaaall the way down
let me introduce you to SockDreams! They make actual good quality socks & stockings for thick thighs and they’re AMAZING and I have thunder thighs and they still fit. Like. Freakin’ amazing.
Also, finding thigh highs are so fucking difficult since my thighs are thick but the rest of my legs are skinny. They never stay up ever.
Sock slippage is a real problem, and I’ve seen people have trouble no matter the size of their leg (big or small, it actually comes down more to the shape of your leg). Of course, gravity will always be an issue, but there are a few ways you can combat it!
I’ve found wearing socks layered over leggings or tights is the easiest way to help them stay up better. This is especially nice in the winter, when you’ll want to layer up anyway.
There are also garter belts, which can work really well either over tights/leggings, or on their own. For thicker socks, I’d recommend the Suspender Clip Industrial Garter Belt, since it has more stay-up power. But garter belts can show under thinner dresses and skirts, and aren’t super comfortable with pants/shorts, so…
My favorite method is sock glue. We carry the It Stays! Body Adhesive, and it can be a life-safer. It has a roll-on applicator, and washes right off with water, so it’s very easy to both apply and remove. You just roll it on, press the socks down for a few seconds to help it set, and then you should be good to go all day!
This post gives me life because I have to wear fitted compression thigh highs every day because of my illness to keep me from passing out. I can’t wear these, but I didn’t know people wore them and look cute as fuck doing so and now I feel less awkward 😭😭😭😭 Thank you beautiful sould
Aw, nothing to be embarrassed about! Sounds like your socks are both functional and fashionable. Rock those socks with pride!

LET ME TELL Y’ALL A STORY ABOUT SOCK DREAMS.
A long time ago a Sock Dreams review was one of my first fat fashion blog posts way back in the day. The socks were small and I was disappointed.
Someone (I cannot remember who) reached out to me and sent me an email promising they were trying to do better.
By that time I’d heard that same story from MANY retailers big and small. Etsy sellers who only knew how to sew or measure for a size 2 to brands like Lip Service.
So I didn’t look at Sock Dreams for a few years and then, someone gave me a pair of O Basics. I went back to the site and HOLY SHITBALLS !
Not only had they come through, they came through in a huge way. Sizing recs, measurements, photos of things on thick and thin and y’all.
I was not only shooketh but I’ve been a pretty loyal customer since and when I want cool socks, I buy Sock Dreams.
If you think you’re too fat or weird shaped to buy fancy socks, go to Sock Dreams.Don’t be shy! Get your fance socks on.
Aw, this is such an amazing story! I’m not crying, you’re crying!
I can’t really speak much to the early years, but in the six years I’ve worked for Sock Dreams, they have always been very committed to listening to customers and taking feedback to heart. Not everything can be changed over night, and we do run into some limitations (our Extraordinary Thigh Highs are currently as stretchy as we can get them with the current machines at our disposal, and even though we know they work for a lot of people, there are still leg’s that they aren’t stretchy enough for), but we do always try to move styles forward, and make socks that will work for as many people as possible. Everyone deserves fun socks!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful story with us! We’ll try to live up to it and keep making better products for our customers!

I feel the need to add another story to this because so many people have asked me where to get socks to wear with leg braces and the answer is always Sock Dreams.
I discovered Sock Dreams when I first got leg braces. Bare plastic against my skin was not fun, but my socks kept slipping down and really long socks were hard to find in stores. So I went looking for garters. Sock Dreams was the first website I found that sold garters without looking like a porn site. And then I discovered their amazing OTK socks that they sold all year round. I haven’t bought socks anywhere else for the past five years.
They have a wide price range, size range, wide variety of materials the socks are made of, ALL THE COLORS AND PATTERNS YOUR HEART DESIRES, and they donate to charitable organizations. And, arm warmers.
Also, Asexual Pride socks are the best.
Y’all are warming our hearts with these stories! We’re truly touched by our awesome customer base—
you’re how we are able to do what we do!

Sock Dreams was also clutch when I was working on cosplay stuff for ECCC this year. I tweeted them a few questions and showed them what I was trying to make happen and they got back to me super fast with multiple options. They have really awesome sizing information too. I was in between sizes and ordered a Rago 6 strap garter but turned out the fit wasn’t quite right. I emailed them and asked then what they advised for an exchange and got all squared up. I have their bi pride socks and they’re really great quality!! I’m always recommending Sock Dreams 🙂
So glad it worked out! We love helping with cosplay recommendations or con-prep. Hope you had a great ECCC (we sure had fun)!

Yet again I just wanna talk about my love for Sock Dreams. Before Sock Dreams, I mostly did not wear socks. I mean I’m a hobbit and I mostly don’t wear socks anyway, and living in central CA I could wear sandals year-round, but like I WANTED to be able to embrace cozy long socks, and I could only find ankle socks because I have them big calves and thick thighs.
ANyway now I live in a place where I need to wear socks a lot and sometimes I need to be able to wear long socks so I can wear boots comfortably because there’s real weather up here in Oregon, and that’s where Sock Dreams saved my life. I have unicorn socks, I have space socks, I have genderqueer pride flag socks (they were sold out of ace ones when I ordered but I’m going to have to order again and get some of that sock glue before my next convention anyway)
I love this company. Also when I got my pride socks I got the cutest sticker?? The stickers are incredibly cute I want a million stickers in all the colors.
Ah yeah, here in Oregon we know weather! But so glad the socks we carry have helped you survive your new home, and feel great doing it!
We’ll often toss in stickers if we spot a gift note or if we’ve chatted through email about the order for whatever reason, but you can also add a sticker to your order right from our website. They’re free with the purchase of any other items, and we rotate through new designs every season, so it pays to check back whenever you order to see if there are new designs!

Let me tell you, peeps: I have been buying things from Sock Dreams before they were Sock Dreams. They have always been professional, delightful, and just all-around wonderful people.
Plus, they have information about item sizes! Information about fiber content! They consistently update the website to reflect stock amounts! And they occasionally draw cute things on invoices.
I *love* Sock Dreams, and I expect to be buying things from them for a very long time.
Sock Dreams is my fav sock place to buy from
I wish something like this had existed when my daughter was young. She had to wear a leg brace for years, and finding long socks was so hard. I usually ended up with soccer socks out of the boys’ department, which were plain and ugly, and either expensive, or cheap and poor quality.
DUUUUUDE. Yes I love it. I think @thisdiscontentedwinter talked about something like this at some point?
Scott would be so. mad. Just imagine the argument he would have with Deaton. Also this would negate the stupid Werewolf Jesus trope. I bet Peter would totally be interested in seeing what Boyd would get up to and Derek would be like “You can literally not do any worse than I did.“ so he’s willing to give it a try.
Isaac might go with Boyd? or maybe he’d stay with Scott because he felt bad that he didn’t have a pack? Lydia wouldn’t want to be in the same pack as Peter if there are other options and Scott’s an idiot but she can totally wrap him around her little finger so that works out. (Allison isn’t really in a pack? but she’s not in Boyd’s pack that’s for damn sure)
And of course Stiles goes from pack to pack for a while before realizing that he’s been spending most of his time with Boyd’s pack so oops sorry Scott, you snooze you lose.
And Scott goes off to college so Boyd steps up as The Actual Alpha of Beacon Hills and being awesome at it, they totally deal with threats (and don’t let them just…leave…if they’ve straight up killed people?) and help supernatural creatures that aren’t treats and it’s great. I might be tempted to actually write this one day.
