Sign-ups to participate in the 5th Annual 12 Days of Sterek Christmas/holiday calendar are now open! (Due to popular demand we’re doing a 5th year!)
About:
The 12 Days of Sterek is a holiday calendar with original fan-created works. Works will be posted on the 12 days leading up to Christmas, starting December 14th.
What kind of works:
In terms of what you can do for the calendar, it can be anything: fic, art, manips, graphics, fanmixes, fanvids, whatever.
As long as it’s Sterek/Hobrien and we can post it on Tumblr, it can be whatever you want. (It doesn’t even have to be winter-y/holiday themed, although that’d be cool if it was, but I don’t want to limit you!)
Deadlines and Dates:
- Sign-ups will close November 1st.
- Submission deadline is December 10th.
- Works will start posting December 14th-December 25th. (It could be beyond that depending on the number of submissions).
Other Info:
You can collaborate with someone else, if you would like, but please figure that out between yourselves and indicate on your form who you will be collaborating with.
If you need prompts or ideas, check out our an ideas tag. Otherwise, you are welcome to create anything you would like to submit.
If you have ideas you’d like to share, send them as an ask to the site and we’ll post them for others that might need some!

In celebration of our cozy online community, I present to you WHUMPTOBER – 31 Days of deliciously painful prompts for your creative pleasure. Visual art, writing, editing – post whatever inspires you!
Treat (or rather, torture) your whumpees to some tantalizing tropes and tag your work with “whumptober“ so others can enjoy your stuff!
(The challenge kicks off on October 1st, feel free to participate as much or as little as you like. DM me if you have Qs. This post will circulate my blog a few times as we near the end of September. Good Luck and Happy Whumping!)

For the SIXTH year running, this upcoming Holiday season there will be a Sterek Secret Santa gift exchange, to make Christmas a little extra special for us all, and it of course results in more wonderful Sterek creations!!! Gift Giving Guidelines

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: SATURDAY DECEMBER 15TH (no specific time, just submit on the Saturday or any day prior to that!)
On Christmas Eve/Day all the gifts will be posted for everyone! On Boxing Day it will be revealed who made gifts for whom, then after that you’re of course free to post the gifts you made to your own Tumblr 🙂

Let’s face it, all of the ladies in Teen Wolf canon and fanon are total badasses. So, for this prompt, feel free to show your favorite pairing rocking at whatever they do best. Whether it’s Kira kicking ass in a university fencing match, Lydia putting some fuddy duddy scientists back in their place, Cora getting a handle on her full shift, or Laura owning the DA’s office – the opportunities are endless.

Meet cute
This week, take your favs and drop them somewhere totally new. When, where, why, and how do they meet? Is Allison a dashing pirate and Erica a tavern keeper? Is Cora the new gym teacher who likes to bother Lydia, the maths instructor? Were Marin and Laura childhood sweethearts who meet again in grad school? Have fun with it!

Maybe it’s starting to cool off where you are and the pumpkin spice flavored everything has you feeling serious fall vibes. Or maybe you just really want to set your favorite pairing loose at a Halloween party. Either way, this week is dedicated to creating something autumn or Halloween themed!

This blog is dedicated to 100 word prompt challenges for any and all Teen Wolf characters and ships. You can read up more About us and our FAQ.

WHAT IS IT?
A week-long fandom event dedicated to celebrating everyone’s favorite big sister, Laura Hale, back for a second year!
WHEN IS IT?
The last week in September, Sunday the 23rd through Saturday the 29th!
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Create! Write a fic, make a fanvid, draw art, compile a rec list or a fanmix, spill your favorite headcanons, or put together some nifty meta. Any and every medium is welcome, as long as what you produce centers around or heavily features Laura.
This is a largely informal event, so you don’t have to sign up or make any promises. You’re welcome to produce something for every day of the week, or just drop in for a day or two. Just submit your work directly to this blog, or post it to your own and tag it with LHAW18 so I can find it and reblog it here for everyone to see!
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
1. Laura must be either a main character or a prominently featured secondary character in whatever content you produce.
2. All content must be tagged appropriately, including any and all warnings/triggers.
3. All ships are welcome, and no ship-bashing will be tolerated.
4. Please be respectful in all your dealings.
WHAT ARE THE PROMPTS?
The prompts haven’t been chosen yet! No matter how great last year’s daily themes were, no one wants to write the same ideas twice in a row. So this year I’m opening up the decision-making process to you, the participants.
If you want a say in what prompts make it onto the table for this year’s event, GO VOTE HERE!
I’ll be making detailed posts on each theme once they’re determined, and of course you will be more than welcome to interpret the prompts as closely or as loosely as you want to. Just get writing/drawing/editing/creating!
LAURA HALE APPRECIATION WEEK IS ON AGAIN
Hey everybody, welcome back to the official blog, going live again for LHAW 2018! Last year’s event was so much fun and produced so much great Laura content that I feel the need to do it all over again, and I hope you guys are up for joining me once more.
