#real talk: their last scene together was the most beautiful one #because derek told stiles- his anchor #to leave him #and stiles still hesitated leaving him #even when derek yelled at him to GO! he still hesitated #he hesitated saving his best friend of years just because he couldn’t stand the thought of leaving derek #because he knew this could be the last time he ever saw him #and this shows that even after all their fake “i hate you’s” and “shut up’s” stiles really cares about him #you can see the tears forming in his eyes #the undeniable feeling of being scared #this is it? this is all i’ll ever get of derek? #stiles had saved derek’s life a few seconds ago from being teared apart by liam #he was okay- derek was okay a few seconds ago- he touched him to make sure #and now he’s dying #he’s leaving him #and he has to save scott but he just- he can’t tear his eyes off of derek #bc this could be the last time he ever sees him #this could be the last he gets from derek- of derek #and stiles has NEVER walked away from him before #he is the only one who never does #he is the only one that always comes back for derek #so it physically hurts to leave him for the first time #you think stiles didn’t thought- maybe if i had stayed with him he would have come back to life just like always? #and the magic of all it’s that derek still came back to life #because this beautiful moment shows that derek on the verge of dying #just like the last time #had to think of his anchor to bring him back to life #derek died with a smile on his face #because he knew he would come back #because his anchor brought him back to life #find an anchor-something meaningful to you//it has to be someone who has a strong connection to you- someone who can bring you back #and he came back to life and left beacon hills #but he will forever be there for stiles #that’s why stiles smiles at derek’s initial #that’s why it was stiles who found derek’s initials #because they’re drawn to each other #no matter where they are or what they’re doing or who they’re with #their love will always be stronger to pull them back together #to bring the back TO LIFE
