Derek was wandering through the forest far from home when he heard a soft whining sound. Curious, he followed the sound into the underbrush.
Lifting a low branch, he saw a little fox kit stuck in a trap. The poor thing was whining pitifully and looking up at Derek with big brown eyes. “Shh, I’ll get you out,” Derek said softly, then pried the trap open. Werewolf strength was so useful, even if he was still little.
Free, the fox stepped gingerly on its paw, then climbed onto Derek and scented him happily, making Derek feel like a heroic prince.
Who said “I love you” first: Derek said it first, but he was recovering from an injury and Stiles isn’t sure if he heard him right and two days later, Derek tells him again
Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: Stiles of course. It’s one of Derek rarely smiling and of course his lock screen is Derek in his wolf form that derek knows nothing about
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: Stiles leaves love notes, Derek leaves notes telling him to knock it off because they have guests and Erica keeps making kissing noises and Boyd keeps asking when is the wedding
Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Stiles buys him gifts that make Derek regret ever asking him out (IE, little wolf things, ;))
Who initiated the first kiss: Derek, it is to shut him up when Stiles begins rambling about them going out and maybe he won’t like him and it’s a bunch of stupid words and the kiss comes out of nowhere
Who kisses the other awake in the morning: Stilesleans over to kiss him and Derek Is already awake, he pulls Stiles onto his chest for a kiss
Who starts tickle fights: There is some moments when Derek would just come up behind Stiles and out of nowhere just tickle him. It surprises Stiles
Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: Derek has respect for Stiles and he would wait until Stiles says yes. He doesn’t want to intrude, even when they’re married
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Derekcame to Stiles job once with his favorite foods and had to explain why he looks like the guy they’re looking for and since then, Stiles brings the lunch to Derek now
Who was nervous and shy on the first date: To everyone’s surprise, Derek! Because come on who would have thought that he was shy?? But he is because what if Stiles figures out that Derek is boring and hates him and never wants to see him again? What if he realizes what everyone said was right and decides that he is too good for Derek? Thoughts run through his mind and during the end of it, Stiles kisses him, let’s him know that they should do it again sometime soon
Who kills/takes out the spiders: Derek, Stiles is a little afraid of them
Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk; Stileshas done it on more than one occasion
